South Africa is hosting the World Cup this year. How much do we know about South Africa. I've come across this site which fully explains different aspects of the country that is in everyone's eyes these days.
Click on the tool bar on the top of the page and get to know about Places, People, Culture & Society, Politcs & Governance. And if you're a teacher, I'm positive you'll find the Classroom Resources really helpful.
What are the articles and topics you've found most interesting?
What did you learn that you didn't know before?
What aspects (format, design, tools, activities) did you like most in this site?

I read the article about Nelson Mandela. It was very interesting. He really fought for the independence and social rights of all South Africans. On this page you can learn a lot about all his live and work. And if you don't like to read so much I would recomend you to see the movie "Invictus". There you will find a small example about his work. It is a very good movie and you will enjoy it.
